What is Heritage Christian Foundation?
It’s a charitable, public, non-profit foundation chartered to provide a home for Heritage Christian Academy and to provide other financial support as appropriate. Also known as FOCEF, the Friends of Christian Education Foundation.
Who is on the HCF board?
The Heritage Christian Foundation board members include: Doug Drees, Dan Wilkewitz, Jon Friedrich, Steve Lesondak, Ted Simmons, Jim Huebner, Jay Erikson and Carlos Barreras.
Who is on the HCA board?
The Heritage Christian Academy board members (presented to and reaffirmed by the school families in January, 2011) include: Damon Jones, Bob Weant, David Lacey, Jason Siemers, Jim Huebner, Ted Simmons and Jay Erikson.
How much does tuition cost?
The tuition schedule is located under Admissions. If you have any questions about the ten-month plan mentioned, please contact us by email and we can discuss alternatives.
Does HCA offer tuition assistance?
Tuition assistance is available. Contact the school for information on qualifications and application guidelines.
Does HCA charge a registration fee?
Yes. The registration fee is $500 per new family. Returning families please see the financial policies for further information.
What is the status of accreditation for HCA?
HCA is currently accredited by ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International).
Is there a bus route from Loveland and south Fort Collins?
We offer a bus service for families in south Fort Collins and Loveland. For more information, CLICK HERE.
What is the relationship between HCA and the Foundation?
HCF is a public charitable foundation whose purpose is to provide a home for HCA and to provide other financial support as appropriate. The articles of incorporation for HCF bind it to HCA. There are a few shared board members between the organizations to foster communication and teamwork. HCF will manage the building on Zürich, work with the other tenants, and assist in strategic fund raising for HCA.
