Our project for the Babies of Destiny brought in nearly $5,000 for the fatherless at the Destiny Village of Hope! The total collected is over $4,900 and will go to help feed and care for the babies in Uganda, and to provide grants for families here who desire to adopt them. The money was raised by the high school basketball teams at Heritage Christian, who collected pledges for each three-point shot made during the season. The varsity boys made 129, varsity girls 66, JV boys 28, and JV girls 6. Each three was worth about $39. The project was part of the HeartWork movement – a ministry with a vision for 1,000 orphans projects by 1,000 youth groups, schools, or teams, in 1,000 days.

All donations may be given to Mrs. Gregery or Mrs. Balderson.
