Senior Servants
December 1st, 2011
Need help with child care, yard work, house work, or other odd jobs? There is an HCA Senior class student who is willing to help you!
This great group of students has chosen to take a mission trip to the Dominican Republic for their Senior class trip in May. We’d like to encourage this Godly desire of theirs to reach out in love & service to needy people rather than planning only a fun trip for themselves. If you have odd jobs you can hire them to do for you during the next several months, they would greatly appreciate it!
Please click here to download the full list of available help. Once you’ve chosen the job and student you’d like to have help you, email HCASeniorClassServants@gmail.com and you’ll be contacted within 2-3 days to set up your project.
Barnes & Noble Fundraiser
November 27th, 2011
Dear HCA Parents,
Want an easy way to have a fun evening watching your student perform, finish your Christmas shopping, let more people know about how wonderful Heritage is AND earn money for HCA all at the same time?
The Barnes & Noble fundraiser is a great way to do just exactly that!
Here’s how:
- Purchase a gift card for Barnes and Noble through the HCA Eagle Earnings (scrip program) and then….
- Use that card to purchase any item or book (excluding gift cards or memberships) at any Barnes and Noble store or on-line between December 5th and December 12th using the HCA voucher code. HCA will receive 12% back on every purchase! Click here to download the vouchers with the code.
- Tell all your friends and family to do the same when they come to the Barnes and Noble at Centerra to watch your students perform or to go on-line and use the voucher!
- Get your present wrapped right in the store for a small donation and you won’t have to worry about doing it later.
- Enjoy a latte from Starbucks while you shop or listen to the wonderful entertainment brought to you by our own HCA students.
- Order a cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory for your Christmas meal and pick it up fresh and ready the week of Christmas – no cooking, no storing and so yummy! Click here to download the Cheesecake Factory order form.
- Buy your Legos, music, games, craft kits or books from their terrific gift selection.
By purchasing a B&N gift card through the Eagle Earnings (scrip program), Heritage essentially gets DOUBLE the earnings – once for the gift card purchase, and then again when you shop at B&N during our weeklong fundraiser. It’s a win-win-win for everyone!
The Barnes & Noble Fundraiser is an awesome way for you to help raise money for HCA. All gift card purchases directly benefit Heritage via the scrip program. All purchases made at Barnes & Noble during the fundraiser benefit the Senior Mission Trip to the Dominican Republic.
Thank you so much for your support!

“This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you.” (2 Corinthians 9:12-14)
May God bless you in ways you cannot imagine,

Our Deepest Sympathy
November 12th, 2011
Dear Heritage Families and Friends,
Yesterday our Heritage family experienced a great loss. Warren Jordan,
the father of two Heritage alumni and two current high school students,
has been called home to be with Jesus. Warren was a man of God who
never hesitated to give his time, his life and his love as God called
him to. He served as a board member for Heritage Christian School for a
number of years, providing the leadership, strength, and vision
essential to the school’s growth and success. He has been here through
all the ups and downs that the Lord has brought Heritage Christian
Academy through, and we are going to miss him dearly. I was honored to
call Warren my friend, and I will miss his profound wisdom and gentle
spirit.
It is moments like this when the body of Christ must become the heart,
hands and feet of our compassionate Savior. The most important thing
you can do for the Jordans is to pray. Pray for Beth and their
children. Pray that the Lord could be their refuge and strength. Pray
Psalm 29:11; 62:5-8; Matthew 11:28-30; and Ephesians 3:14-21. Pray as a
family, and pray in the quiet moments of your heart. Pray that God
would provide the grace they need to get through each moment of each day.
There are other ways in which you can help. We have set up a meal
schedule for them. If you would like to bring the Jordans a meal,
please go to:

and put in your information. You will receive an email reminder the day
before you are scheduled. If you have questions please contact Lori

“From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is
overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.” Psalm 61:2 KJV
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in
him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy
Spirit.” Romans 15:13
Thank you all for your prayers and support.
In His Grip,
Mike Cuckler
