About Women’s Volleyball:

Volleyball at Heritage Christian is unlike any other high school experiencing playing a sport. The coaches thoroughly care about you and what is going on in your life, not just about what you can perform on the court. Throughout my years playing volleyball the “skill” I learned most about was communication. You cannot play volleyball without communication. You just can’t. It’s that simple. I learned that you not only needed to talk to your teammates on the court so that they knew was doing what, but also talk to your teammates off the court and get to know them. The better you knew them inside and out and how they played and thought about the game, the better you could help them on the court. Therefore furthering everyone’s game. As to my teammates, I have never made so many wonderful and joyous friends. They are amazing and they care about me and what is going on in my life. We laughed, cried, sweat, and rejoiced together. We still do. Playing for Heritage has its unique characteristics. Being intimately close with everyone is definitely an upside. You are not just friends and teammates, you’re FAMILY!
