Acacia Halte
Acacia Halte is HCA’s Kindergarten teacher and is passionate about Christian education.
Acacia was raised on a peanut farm in a small town in Texas. She moved to colorful Colorado when she was married 21 years ago. They have a daughter who attends HCA.
She has an undergrad bachelor’s degree from Colorado Christian University, graduating with extra distinction and receiving a special award for academics and Christian character. Additionally, Acacia has a master’s degree from Liberty University in elementary education, obtained 2023, Summa cum laude. Acacia is a member of the Teacher’s National Honor Society and Christian Educators.
Acacia has teaching experience in various grades from Pre K to 2nd. She has enjoyed being in behavior therapy, a resource teacher, a dyslexia interventionist and a community director. She was a Girl Scout for 19 years.
In her spare time, Acacia and her husband play in the worship team at their church and she teaches Sunday School. Acacia writes music for church and is active in Larimer County4-H.
Acacia felt the call to HCA in 2022 and plans to retire from HCA many years from now.
